I think we are getting a little rusty
08/17/2009 09:54 PM by Scubacuda.

Stuff happens during the course of raiding and progression. You tend to get a little rusty after going back to certain old instances that you really no longer desire to do. Ulduar is a perfect case for that.

Out of all the hard modes for ten man, Mimiron was the worst without question. Vezax post-nerf was pretty much a joke. All the others were fairly simple.

So there you have it folks. Congratulations my fellow raiders of our 10 man group that were able to make this possible.

Are you a firefighter?

I hated Mimiron's normal mode originally, but this one takes the cake.

We got a few people their Algalon keys and we are now witnessing The Observer's greatness! He's like Kael'thas, only blue and transparent!

My God this fight is crazy. He will die in due time.

Recruitment Open
07/12/2009 09:02 PM by Scubacuda.

If perhaps you have not already noticed, we are indeed recruiting.

Here are some general things we ask:

1) Use your actual player name when applying. It allows us to find your character on the WoW Armory site a lot faster. And faster finds means faster analysis.

2) Please have dual-specialization. Players that do not have this are less likely to be reviewed for possible recruitment. And if you have this, applicants who have their dual talent specs tailored to raiding in various ways are more likely to be reviewed as well. Examples can be a tank / DPS dual spec or a DPS / healer spec. A not-so-good dual spec is a one that has a PvP orientation to it.

3) Main character only. We do not bring alts to our raids.

4) When applying to our guild, please make sure you log off in the spec and gear you wish to use when applying. So when you apply to be a tank, do not log off in your DPS gear and talent spec.

Please keep these in mind when applying to our guild. Also keep in mind what we are looking for, which you can see in the left-hand column. Also please bear with us that we might not get back to you immediately. The guild officers (me included) are busy during our time outside WoW and we might not get to an application for a few days. Please exercise patience and do not harp on us in-game for "status-checks" on applications.

If you have any general questions about us or rules that we enforce, you can ask Quackers (GM), Letum, or Scubacuda.

Thank you for your potential interest in The Company! We look forward to seeing your applications soon!

When Dream and Day Unite!
05/31/2009 08:03 PM by Scubacuda.

"...and though the time will come when dream and day unite, tonight the only consolation causing him to fight in fearless faith in destiny."

Yogg-Saron is the thing of your dreams, and nightmares for that matter. One cannot help but go insane at just the sheer sight of him. This Old God, however, underestimates mortals to such a large extent he didn't really expect us to rip apart that human avatar of his. I cannot begin to tell you how many people wanted to get their hands on Sara...but in the end, all they did was /kiss her.

Morons...

Likely or not, it's a dream that we keep. Yogg-Saron can stay permanently out of our minds now. One less Old God to worry about.

I hear the Titans have sent a messenger to Azeroth to "check" if the planet is worthy. Algalon should pay attention, we are coming for him in due time.

98...99...100...101...
05/23/2009 10:20 PM by Scubacuda.

I'm a mount addict...

When the 50 mounts achievement came out, I immediately blitzed to sieze it. After getting it, the 100 mounts achievement unlocked. I knew then, that I HAD to do what I needed to do to get it.

BEHOLD!

I've received word that someone from <The Fabled> got theirs earlier in the week. Anyone on Alliance yet?

I got this late Saturday evening, so if nobody else got it before me it IS official that I am the first one!
